Hi everyone, sorry it has been awhile since my last post.I have not done anything on my youtube channel either in weeks! The reason being is that I have been not that well lately and off work for afew days last week and still not right now 100%.I have felt rubbish now for a couple of weeks so have only been on the computer and watched vids or been on my new favourite thing Facebook, which I will come onto later! I just have not felt up to getting my head around sitting here and writing or commenting on vids or make them either. My great friend from youtube Amanda has noticed my absence too as I stay in contact with her through msn but have not done that either.I am in general a quite sickly person who has lots of little health problems like allergies etc...so it's no surprise I have felt under the weather! I visited the Doctor and had medication altered and was told I have side effects to some other I was on,so it's all been happening! Still don't feel 100% but afew people at work have felt some similar symptoms so I may have just caught a bug too,but I hope it goes soon as I am in catch 22 as because I am prone to things when I am run down it effects me more and has a knock on effect.
While I have not been doing much I have been getting all the Christmas presents wrapped,a job that as the years go by I am becoming less fond of,and we don't even seem to buy as many presents as we did ! I do all the wrapping and cards as my husband doesn't like his handwriting so prefers me to do it.He doesn't think his present wrapping skills are up to much either so he thinks I will only tell him off if it doesn't look right so he leaves it to me.Easier all round really! We have been alittle stuck on what to get people too this year.Normally I spend ages agonising over what to get for people but this year not so much.If I think they will like something when I see it,I get it straight away.I don't think I will keep it in mind and go and try and get something better,I just don't seem to have the patience this year.
Like I mentioned earlier I am now on Facebook. Both me and Hubby said we did not like the idea but we have now caved in.I was originally asked by my uncle who wanted me to join and be a "neighbour" in Farmville. If you are not on there you probably won't understand what I mean by all that! Basically it is a game that involves running a farm on a piece of land.I decided to join and now love every aspect.Farmville is great and I am doing quite well, even if I do say so myself : ) I have reached level 10 in around a week so it's pretty good going. The Facebook part is wonderful too as I am now in touch with old school friends and family members I have not seen or spoken too in years. It does obviously mean more time on the computer but I am trying to cut down time spent on other sites, like youtube for instance, but it doesn't mean I won't be making more videos.Soon as I am fighting fit again I will return to making them, that may be a good or bad thing! you decide ......... lol
Take care everyone x

Latest craft project finished!
Just wanted to share with you all my latest craft project that I have just literally finished in the last half hour. These are little things to hang on a Christmas tree.I saw natneagle from youtube fame! posted on twitter that she wanted some things to hang on a small girly tree she has in her house,so I offered to make these for her.She has been very kind about them and hopefully she likes the latest two that I made that she had not seen(Have just posted them on twitter for her to see!) I have really enjoyed doing a project for someone on a certain theme and would love to do something like this again.Have a look and let me know your views on them, you can be as honest as you like!

Get to know ME answers!
Here are the answers to the questions I received in my "want to know more about me?" video on my youtube channel.I didn't get many questions really : ( but I still got some good ones and I thank you all for asking them.If you are reading this and didn't leave me any questions but would like to ask some, please leave me a comment at the end of this post.I will then post the answers in the same way as I have done in this post. Here goes with the answers then and I hope you enjoy reading my answers!
myqroom asked: How did you get into crafts and at what age?
Well, I think I started getting into main crafts about 8 or 9 years old.I started off doing simple knitting (Ordinary knitting and french knitting with the little wooden doll thing with metal pins on the top!)and cross stitching.Cross stitching was the main thing I enjoyed then and in my early teens and still in fact do enjoy it still now but go through phases of it now! I started to do cardmaking in the last 3 years or so having seen inspiration on TV etc... and decided it would be something I would enjoy so decided to have a go.
doodleschucky asked: If you work, what job do you do?
Yes I do work and I work in retail. That's as much as I am revealing,I am not telling you the name of where I work i'm afraid! I have good and bad days with the job but have managed to stay there for 10 years so there must be something about it!
Do you own any animals?
Yes,we own a male tabby white cat called Lucky (He is gorgeous, meet him in my youtube video!) Also we have a goldfish called Stan (Strange name you might say,he is named after Stan Butler from the old sitcom On the Buses! We originally had two fish,Arthur and Olive named from the same program! Sadly Arthur passed away so we then got Stan,Olive also passed away so we now just have Stan)
How did you start with craft?
Same answer as above really. When I was younger, did lots with a friend who taught me things as she was very crafty with knitting etc. Also learnt and became interested through family and other inspiration like demonstrations on things like shopping channel craft programmes(These can be a good inspiration, you don't have to buy anything, just watch and you see lots of live demos and sample cards to give you ideas!)
Do you do anyone else's nails?
No,I just do my own.I can't wear nail polish for work so don't even wear it that often, mainly just at the weekends and sometimes not every week either.Nail art is something I don't do always either so I am not that professional to do other peoples nails, yes I give advice in my tutorials but I wouldn't say i'm an expert!
TealxTiger asked : How do you store your makeup?
I have recently organised my makeup into a much neater system so I can answer this better.Otherwise I would have said thrown into various places! The majority of my makeup is kept in the bathroom and that has always been the case.I don't use a special makeup mirror, just the bathroom cabinet! So I store everything mainly in there so it's easy to get to.I have a little vanity case in the window that has the everyday essentials like tinted moisturiser, concealer and powder and afew bits and pieces that are basics like a black eyeliner. Then most of it is kept in a drawer in one of those plastic drawer units on wheels (I will show this in a video soon) In the drawer I now have everything stored in groups in various containers or stacked etc... palettes together, eyeliners, face items like blushers, highlighters etc...I would urge anyone to get more organised with your collection,it is so much better when you do have it all organised.I definitely won't be going back to the throw it all in method!
What is your favourite thing to shop for?
I like all sorts of shopping really,be it grocery shopping or general shopping.I love buying things full stop.I have calmed down alittle now I am getting near to 30.In my teenage years and early 20's I would buy everything I liked, every pair of shoes and every item of clothing.I was good that it was never really expensive things but it is just a hassle when you are forever having to get rid of bags and bags of things. Now I stop and think more if the item is something I will use, what will it go with? and try now to build more of a capsule wardrobe with basics and get a few bits and pieces now and again that maybe won't be something for everyday wear.
What 3 makeup items would you hate to be without?
I would say lipstick would be the top one I would hate to be without.I very very rarely ever leave the house without makeup and even if I don't do all my makeup I always have to put on some lippy! And when I say lipstick,I mean lipstick, not gloss.I like gloss but prefer lipstick.Number 2 would be either my tinted moisturiser or translucent powder as I do like something on my skin, even though I can never get flawless skin. And 3 would be (this is difficult) but probably blush to give my face some colour so I don't look too pale.I do love doing eye makeup the most of all though but it does come last too the others if i could only have 3 items.
What crafting methods haven't you tried yet but would like too?
I honestly can't think of anything! But I have recently just got a book on beadwork which works in the same way as cross stitch really that you use half stitches to attach small beads and make the picture with those.I am really enjoying that,so that's my new thing!
When is your birthday?
February 22nd
What's in your bag?
The typical items that all women carry.Too much junk my husband would say! purse, keys, mobile, work keys, hand sanitiser, mirror, mints, tissues, one of those small foldaway shopping bags and often too many lipsticks, normally around 5! I never remember to take the others I am not using out.
What skincare products do you use?
Most importantly I always remove my makeup at night.I am at the minute using LUSH babyface cleanser and Eau Roma/Tea Tree toner water after.I must admit though that I have never been someone who took much care of her skin in the past.I am trying to though now more as it is important.Everyone say how young I look so I must be o.k but it might catch up on me one day if I don't look after it!

Nat's natter 2!
Time for another nattering session I think! To start with I went and brought something from the Wet n Wild line that I mentioned to you all in the last natter.I got one of the four stripes Bronzers. This is called Mega Glo illuminating Bronzing powder in Starlight Bronze. It was the only Bronzer shade they had in the selection in my Tesco but you may find more in your branch but saying that my Tesco is a very large store so this selection may be it.I am new really to Bronzers, I do have a FCUK one but I only use it occasionally.I also don't use them in the proper way really,I use them mostly just the same as a blusher.I tend to be wary of them as I don't want too much of an orange look! I am pale skinned and use tinted moisturiser and translucent powder and although they are not too bad it still does give a certain amount of colour so I think it may be alittle too "caked" for me with Bronzer all over.I like this one and the FCUK one but I do find them both a touch too shimmery and I would prefer a more matte version. This Wet n Wild one has four different shades that go up in intensity, they are nice separately but I think it's a better effect swirling the brush around them all and using that way.I may do a video or post some swatches to show you all.
Carrying on with the beauty theme I have used the nails inc nail polish in Victoria that I got free with Glamour magazine.I have come to the conclusion that I prefer it for my toes.It tends to look alittle too patchy even with two coats and also with a top coat it chipped straight away! Therefore I will not be purchasing duplicate copies of Glamour for more as I don't think it's worth getting more, for the money you are saving compared to buying it from nails inc it's worth it but for the quality I don't feel it is.I could just as easily go and purchase a £1 something polish to get the same results. It just goes to show that sometimes higher price tags and brand names don't always equal quality! (This is just my opinion, some of you may find nails inc polishes wonderful for you and that's great but with my experience with this one and another I have i'm afraid I don't)
I have been getting into watching Blog tv over the past few days, saying that I have only watched one person, juicytuesday.I love her youtube channel so decided to check out her blog tv shows and really enjoy them.I don't think I would be brave enough to do a blog tv show,I don't think many people would want to talk to little old me anyway. Also I would have to get the webcam sorted with sound! I don't have sound sorted as I just use it mainly for photos of things where I need to show the colours better of things as the digital camera I use for videos doesn't do close up shots very well! I am trying to incorporate it into eyeshadow tutorials too because of the fact that the digital camera just doesn't cut it in terms of close up focusing and shadow colours.Lighting is also terrible even with the webcam as the days are so dull at the moment that the natural light is not enough and with lamps etc it is too much. The digital camera I use is not a cheapy either but it just doesn't seem to be suitable for the tutorials,oh well I am sticking with it anyway! Also I am trying to work a setup that allows me to do my eyeshadow tutorials hands free, not trying to wrestle with the camera in one hand brush in the other etc... so I have been playing with various things on the computer desk stacked up etc.. to try and get the camera close up to my eye and still show the detail and leave me with my hands free to actually do the thing! It has been fun and games,I am getting closer to coming up with a soloution but not quite there yet.If not the many other great gurus that do tutorials will have to struggle on with out my contributions ( I think they will manage somehow!)
Talking of tutorials I must get the crafting ones done.I am thinking about doing a baby girl card as my most watched video is a baby boy card tutorial at 850ish views so hopefully it will go down well. Also I may do a Christmas tree decoration.I made one to send to natneagle (Absolutely fantastic guru that you have to subscribe to,first person I really watched on youtube) so I may show you how to make those soon.Need to get back into my crafting full stop.I am working on a project at the minute involving bead work.I got a book on it and had some seed beads in my craft/sewing collection so have started to get into that so that's my new thing at the moment.I tend to have phases where I do alot of one particular thing then move onto the next. Some months it's cross stitch then knitting babies booties and then the next month it may be making lots of cards up.I have some cards all ready to go,packaged, priced etc..as I want to start to try and sell them more, hopefully some on here too (let me know if you are interested,I welcome all orders lol !)
Trying to think of blog ideas too,so anything you would like to see please let me know.I will have the answers from my "Get to know me" video on here in the next few days, there is not too many questions but still some good ones in there. Also nail polish of the month and probably another in's and out's list and of course more general good old nattering!!!!

Wet n Wild !
Just wanted to let you all know something that I was going to mention in my last "nattering" post but forgot! Now this may be common knowledge to lots of you but I will tell you all just incase you have not heard and have not looked on the Wet n Wild's website in awhile. The U.S makeup brand Wet n Wild have now started to stock a limited amount of it's range in Tesco stores. If it is available in every store I do not know, but I looked in my large Tesco store (not small stores such as Express) and they had it.When I say a limited amount of the range there is still a good selection such as Blushes,Bronzer,Lipstick and Foundation to name afew.Saying that though there is not alot of colour selection but you should be able to find at least one thing you fancy to try the brand out.I however did not have time to really study it all when I nipped in but do plan to purchase something soon.I fancy getting one of the four stripe Bronzers or Blushes, example below!

To make this news extra exciting each item from what I saw is only £1.87 each so a bargain! You may have to look a little for the brand as it did not have it's own designated stand but was next to all the stands in my store. The range was hanging on hooks underneath some other bits and pieces,so at first I thought they were not stocking it as I did not see the big stand,so seek and you shall find (Hopefuly!)

Nat's natter !
Well this post is all about the title, nattering! I was thinking what shall I blog about,I'm stuck? Then it struck me,why don't I blog about what blogging is all about, talking about myself and whats going on in my world! Simple, why didn't I think of it sooner (I say in a sarcastic tone!) So that is what I will start doing now in form of "nattering" posts.Random posts of what I have been doing, plan to do,want to do etc...(You get the picture!) Some may think it is mundane as once I start typing I type and type and type!!!! Anyway I am going to do it,sometimes it may be boring to some of you but if I really do have nothing to say then I won't say it,don't worry.I won't go too in depth into my life here so there won't be any juicy tid bits of information/gossip I'm afraid : )
Here goes: I'm relaxing at the moment after a long day of cleaning. My husband does do his fair share of cleaning too when required but I would rather do the lions share of it as he does do more hours of work than myself.I wouldn't be a very nice wife if I expected him to do cleaning after a 10/11 hour shift! I do like cleaning and hate living untidely but I would admit I could do more, but how much more is more? I can once I start though find jobs to do and will clean for hours and hours and you have to drag me away(That is when you start to think am I becoming abit obsessive!) Putting laundry away and ironing come under the worst jobs I hate.I used to love ironing and would iron everything from socks and boxer shorts to handkerchiefs lol !
If anyone follows me on Twitter or Youtube will know that both of us have been off work (Hubby went back Mon,I'm going back tomorrow) and we went to a trip to Oxford and Bicester village.I was so surprised to receive a tweet from Bicester village! I never thought about them having a twitter page even,it was a really nice surprise. We enjoyed our'e trip on the whole but found Oxford alittle different from what we expected. From pictures and Inspector Morse episodes we expected the whole town to have the "Dreaming Spires" around every corner. There was some lovely architecture that is not standard by any means but just not as much as I thought. Also the whole town centre was full of bicycles! Either along the street locked up or people riding them.I think that is a tradition there that will never die, also very environmentally friendly! One of my purchases I made at Bicester was a Mac eyeshadow suite consisting of two shades.I cannot tell you each name as it didn't say,it only had one name "Counterparts".It has a shimmery green and shimmery sort of peachy/gold colour.I was excited to try them but on doing so I am quite disappointed. The colours seem to look very lifeless and wash me out almost.I have never thought of a shade really doing that but this seems to succeed.I think I will have to work with them and experiment with different bases to do something with them.
I am thinking at the moment of new videos to come up with.I think I will start doing a series on bargain buys.It may be monthly but the trouble with monthly is that you have to keep them up! I will include the best bargains I have brought and those items won't have already been showed in hauls.I am always getting so many comments about my bargain shopping so I thought it would be a good idea. Also more craft tutorials as I have been slipping with those lately. And the one I have been asked about and keep promising is a makeup collection one so that is definitely on the list.I have posted a video asking people to ask me questions but no-one seems to be doing so at the minute and I think I only have about 4 questions! Come on everyone ask away : )
Sorted out home/contents insurance renewal yesterday too.Normally we go with the same company and have done for years but decided this year to shop around. We looked on Go Compare (Love there adverts!) and found one and saved nearly £100 so would highly recommend it and will definitely use it again in the future for all insurances.
Oh before I forget to mention this,I brought Glamour magazine this issue as got a free Nails inc nail polish in the shade "victoria".It is an absolutely gorgeous rich and very dark cherry red.You do need two coats and definitely a base as when I tried it quickly on one finger and wiped it straight off it stained. It can go alittle streaky too but all in all great. They normally retail around £10.50 so get it with Glamour for £2! They are giving a choice of 4 colours too so may get another.
I may leave this post here and see if I get any positive comments about doing these kind as for some of you it may be abit long and not that informative.Anyway let me know either way if possible,I would really appreciate it.
Take care everyone,Natalie x

Octobers Nail polish of the month (alittle late ! )
Sorry,I'm alittle late with my nail polish of the month series, this is Octobers ! The one I have been wearing the most has been Eyeko Pastel polish. It is a gorgeous Blue/Turquoise colour that is in the same colour family as some of the more expensive brands popular polishes that have been well talked about in the summer months on youtube. ("For Audrey" "Peppermint patty" that sort of thing )This polish is nowhere near those brands prices and will set you back a mere £1.99 in branches of Superdrug that stock the Eyeko range. If you cannot find the range in store you can order from the website www.eyeko.com there though you will have to pay £3 for the polish but that does include free shipping to wherever you are,be it in U.K or international. With the online order (Where I got mine,as I didn't know at the time you could get it in Superdrug!) you do receive some facial wipes that are individually wrapped,I got four with my order. Also if you spend £10 online you can enter a code which are easily found through gurus on youtube who are "ambassadors" for Eyeko (more info on that on the website) On entering the code you will be sent a free gift, usually a full size lip/cheek stick called a "Fat Balm" but don't quote me on it!
I have included a picture below of the polish on but it is a bit difficult to see exactly as I took the picture this afternoon and it was starting to get dark slightly.Hopefully you can still see.I show the polish in a couple of my youtube videos too and I did a Tiffanys inspired look with this as it is a good match for there box colour !
Here is another picture of the bottle closer up as it is in a really cute bottle and quite different from any other packaging. It may look small too and in fact it is slightly smaller than the average polish as it is 10ml but still enough!

Heavenly Smells !
I have seen quite afew posts lately about candle reviews so wanted to tell you about a favourite of mine. This is a popular company but not so easy to come by in the shops in the U.K,that brand is Yankee candles!!!
They have such a wonderful assortment of candles, wax tarts, car jars, plug in fresheners etc.... It is such a great experience if you can get to or find one of the shops as you will have a great time and spend ages browsing the vast selection and of course more importantly smelling the huge amount of different scents. There are so many scents to choose from that everyone,be it female or male will certainly find at least one if not more scents that they love.
Like I mentioned it is quite difficult to get Yankee in the U.K.My favourite place being a dedicated shop in the Westfield shopping centre in Derby called Delight(It only sells Yankee candles so why it's not called that I don't know!).If we ever go there for the day I always go in there and sniff around so to speak!!!!!!
Also qvc shopping channel sell some of the range too but prices can be a little high as alot of the time they sell sets of things so it is a lot of money to spend if you are unsure of scents etc...so I would say it is best to try and find somewhere where you can pay the minimum amount to try the range out before investing more money.I have also found a small selection of the range in some seaside shops,I cannot remember the names but there was one in Skegness, one in Weymouth and one in St,Annes near Blackpool.
The one I am using at the moment is the jar one pictured below,Midsummers night,it is the smallest jar size one that they do (3.7 oz)and retails for around £7.50.The prices may seem quite expensive for candles but I believe these are well worth it.You get around 40 hours of burning time from this jar so I would recommend this for a first time purchase. You do with these jars and any others however have to burn them for a good few hours to stop the tunnelling effect happening,if you don't then you find that the wax has not melted right to the edge of the jar and you are left with a tunnel through the middle and what you have not melted is therefore wasted. These do burn slowly so I would say you might have to burn it for around atleast 6 hours, that's what I found anyway as I have alittle tunnel through mine too! Just keep an eye on it and don't light it when you have to go out somewhere and have to put it out in half an hour!

I have tried the small votive candles (pictured below) but I didn't think much of these and think these were a let down for Yankee as they did not give off much of the scent which is highly unlike this brand.Normally the scent is very true and fills the room unlike some scented candles that smell when not lit and soon as you light them you cannot smell a thing!
I have also tried afew wax tarts. These are round pieces of wax that are made up of very minuscule balls of wax that melt in an oil burner, pop a whole one in or just crumble a little and light a tealight underneath to melt the wax and omit the scent.Yankee do sell special tealights to be used with these.I have not tried them so cannot give any reviews but apparently they have more of a controlled sort of flame that is better for use with the tarts.I use normal tealights and I would say sometimes you can get a little of a burnt sort of smell near the end, maybe this has to do with the flame burning the wax too furiously.I however overcome this slightly by trying to put the candle out just before the wax has nearly all evaporated.Whatever has not evaporated completely solidifies again and can be reused.I wouldn't say keep melting the same piece over and over as it does lose it's smell so just twice is probably enough. These are definitely good for a first time purchase too as they only cost just over one pound each so good for people also who want to try out lots of the scents. If you know better or have any tips, let me know!!!!!

What do you think about a sale?
What do you all think about me having a blog sale,or even regular blog sales?
In the sales I would mainly sell handmade items such as cards, bookmarks and babies booties. But also I have other items I could include such as DS lite cases, keyrings etc...(these items can be found in my sell or swap video on my youtube channel)
The cards would be various different designs and alot of the time two are never the same as I make up batches of cards with materials I have so don't tend to be able to produce more than one in exactly the same.If something proved popular I could however try to replicate the same design.Unique one off kinds are great though,no-one gets the same so makes the handmade part so much more personal too.Cards would vary in price from 50p-£1.50,bookmarks 25p and booties £3,other items such as DS cases would be around £2-£3.I have included a couple of pictures of sample cards and the prices below just to give you an idea.I don't have a picture of the booties at the minute(Silly me has wiped it off the computer and I don't have any more made up!) Will include one soon, or they are featured in my facts about me youtube video so you could look there. Postage is something I have not sorted completely as this is only in very early stages(Want to gauge opinions first!) I would say for cards around a £1 and that would be a flat rate for afew too if you wanted more than one, that would include postage and envelope costs.Other items around £1.50,depending on size, weight etc...I would always keep postage prices honest and never try to gain from them.If anyone would want anything from outside U.K I would have to calculate that as and when you contacted me with your interest in an item.
All payments would be done too by paypal and anyone who wishes to ask any questions or ask for something would need to leave me a comment or send me a message though here or via youtube (Any way you prefer!,I don't mind)
This Friend card would be 50p ! Bargain : )
Also all cards, bookmarks and booties come nicely packaged in cello bags and labelled as handmade.
This congratulations one would be £1 ! Bargain again : )
These book marks are 25p as they are made from paper folding,I do use a strong sort of picture paper so they do hold shape.I then personalise with a peel off. Most prob in orders I will give these away as a freebie too !!!!!

Feeling Crafty?
Just a quick post as I have noticed that I have quite a lack of craft posts at the moment seeing as I say this blog is about craft and beauty ! So I thought I would let you all in on two of my most favourite craft websites that I always use for free printable materials.Crafting doesn't need to be expensive and you can get just as good backing papers, decoupage images etc...all for free from the Internet, how cool is that?????? : )
The first I use when I need some decoupage images for making my cards(Also please check out these and any other websites for copyright info if you are wanting to sell your cards) This site has a variety of different images and backing papers to match for all occasions and is run by a lovely lady called Audrey http://www.thelilacgardendecoupagesite.co.uk/
The next has so much on it for you to do.Everything from backing papers, scrapbook elements, envelopes, stationary, origami, pop up cards, ready done cards that you just print and fold to party supplies (hats, banners etc...that you just print and assemble from paper!)
The site is run by the electrical firm Canon, seemingly to coincide with there range of ink jet printers. www.canon.com/c-park/

Goody Goody Gum Drops !
Just wanted to let you all in on my latest hair care find that actually seems to make a difference,Gum !

I have tried the Serum from this range in the past and have been pleased with it but never really thought that I must repurchase it.On looking in my local pound shop I came across this shampoo and conditioner and thought I would give it a go and am very pleased I did.
I was only commenting not so long a go on a youtube friends video about a shampoo and conditioner that she was reviewing.I told her that I can never find anything to wash my hair with that ever makes any difference to the last bottle of something I tried.Everything I can remember trying in the past always just does the job of washing my hair but never leaves it in any sort of condition that makes the hair feel that it's been washed. This however did just that as I felt immediately a difference in the the fact that it was so much softer and silky feeling, wet and dry.
The smell is absolutely divine as it smells of Tangerine,I must say that the conditioner does have more of a smell than the shampoo.I wash my hair late in the evening so I go to sleep with a lovely Tangerine smell and even when I wake up the scent is still there in my hair too.
I got the shampoo in a 250ml bottle and the conditioner in 150ml.(This is always said but why do companies make conditioner in so much smaller bottles as you always run out of it first and still have the shampoo so you have to repurchase, that may be the answer right there actually, I think we all know it,but it is still annoying! ) I got the Blue label colour which is for Frizzy Coarse hair as I have thick hair. The shampoo is called Daily Revitalising (I don't however wash my hair everyday) and the conditioner is called 2 Minute Makeover Intensive.I paid £1 per bottle so a very good bargain, looking on the website the products seem to normally retail for £3.99.The bottles I got may have made there way to the pound shop because they are from a different range they did, looking on the website they have a couple of ranges with different packaging to these. The new ranges seem to have products with the same sort of description so if you were to try these ones and couldn't get again in the pound shop you could repurchase directly from the website which is http://www.gumhair.com/
Really worth trying,so take a look in the pound shop and try it as it's definitely comparable to a more expensive brand.

My first swap with my great friend in the USA,Amanda !
This post is as the title suggests, all about a swap I did recently with a lady I have become such great friends with through youtube,Amanda. She is very similar to me in alot of ways as we seem to have the same taste in things we like to do and styles/colours of makeup. She does wonderful videos along the same lines as mine,so if you are interested in mine you will love hers! Go and take a look at her channel www.youtube.com/user/xoxoamandakisses to find videos on crafting, cooking, makeup, fashion and hauls(She loves those as she has a little thing for shopping!) etc... Also she has a blog www.amandaxoxokisses.blogspot.com
I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our swap from the shopping to the wrapping and to the excitement of waiting for the package to arrive. We are definitely going to do another one and I have suggested next year now so I can make a start on everything as I have far too much makeup(Well by my standards anyway, probably not as much as others and certainly not as much as Amanda,go check out her makeup collection vids to see what I mean!) Hopefully I will be able to pick up some great things for her over the Christmas/New year sale period.
We both made videos of the things that we sent each other and they are on youtube for you all to see.I have pulled afew things out of the lots that she sent me to show on here but if you watch the videos you will see everything.
First of all is two rings,a big green square cut stone ring and a pearl cluster dangly ring, love them : )
Next is a gorgeous pair of earrings with blue cameo designs on them and cute ribbon bows and pearls. Also a great pen that looks like a lipstick! Never seen those anywhere here before and I asked Amanda to send me one as I had seen one in a previous swap video she did.
Next is a Maybelline Lash Stylist mascara. It is very unique as the wand is more of a plastic comb as in a traditional hair comb type of thing. You may not be able to see very well though in the picture I'm afraid! ( Oh the stress of cameras!)
Amanda sent me some brands that we don't get here in the U.K and this is one of them,Physicians Formula. This is a lovely cream eyeshadow set in Purple/Berry shades
These are something I asked Amanda for again and they are Dr Pepper lip balms! We get these soft drink flavoured ones over here now but more in a traditional stick shape and never Dr Pepper.I love Dr Pepper so asked if she could get me some as I know they are easy to get in the USA,I also asked for the can shape as they are so cute and I will definitely save the packaging after I am finished with the balm.

The next two things I have used every day since I got them.A L'Oreal HIP blendable blush cream and a Revlon colorstay lip duo.We can't get HIP here so I was excited to try something and this blush is great and I love the cream idea. The lipstick is wonderful too and something I have never tried. You put the darker coat on and that stays put all day(How often do you get that?) Once that is dried you put on the metallic gloss coat that you can reapply over the course of the day to change the tone of the lipstick.Amanda get me more PLEASE!!!!

A New Series!! Nailpolish of the month
Welcome to a new monthly series! This is entitled Nail polish of the month (How ingenious! anyway it will do) This may sound silly explaining but here goes, each month I will be showcasing a nail polish that I am wearing and obviously liking the most that month,I will show you all the bottle and it actually on the nail.I know this is not the most exciting post to look at but some people may be interested so I thought I would go with it.
Septembers polish of the month is the Creation Lamis polish in (These have no names I'm afraid!) a lovely Matt light Grey.Having worn this a few times I would say this has a Blue/Purple tone to it as well as light Grey.In this picture I am wearing it over some plain stick on false nails, this is the first time I have worn polish on top of false nails and I love it! You seem to get a good lovely glossy even coverage over the base of the false nail.I wouldn't do this all the time as I don't like to always have nail glue on the nail as this may be damaging long term to the nail condition.I may be wrong but that's just my opinion.
These Creation Lamis polishes I have spoke about in videos before and I got them from my local market at the bargain price of 3 bottles for £1 !!!!! These are a Belgium brand and I have never seen them sold elsewhere.I have 9 various bottles from this make and they have become my favourite brand.Obviously they are not widely available so you may think why am I showing you,but don't worry I will feature polishes that are more well known in the future.I just have to include these as I think they deserve a mention and they are my true favourites.

If anyone has any ideas of a monthly series they would like to see me do please leave a comment or message via here or youtube(WellThatsNat) xxx

Meeting a friend!
This week during a lovely week off work!my Husband and I went to meet a friend of mine at Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield. We live quite away from each other so we sort of meet in a place in the middle, which is just about here! We have met her here before so we know what it is like, for those of you that have not been I will tell you a little about it,I'll try not to make it too long winded!
Meadowhall is a shopping centre that sits on it's own outside the centre of town.To check out more whats there take a look at there website http://www.meadowhall.co.uk/ to give you an idea it has alot of big name shops including LUSH,Debenhams,Boots,W.H.Smith,Radley,Bench,Crocs and Primark to name a few.It is mainly more high end shops I would say which may appeal to some and may be a turn off for people too.I would say I prefer more of a balance as I do love a bargain(There was a pound shop though, years ago though when I visited they didn't even have that!)
A good plus to the centre is that they do have free parking which is always great for shopping trips. There is also a large central area called the Oasis Foodcourt where it is a mass of tables circled with food outlets on two floors. These are mainly high end prices again but there is a MacDonalds at least (My choice every time!) Also there is a large cinema too if you wanted to make a longer day of your trip and do something else besides shopping.
I would say though that I find it easy to get lost in there, maybe because I have not been too often but I think it is mainly to do with the decoration.Nothing stand out in there,no focal points really,so to me one end looks very much the same as the other and although the list of shops sounds alot you find yourself covering the same ground alot, well in my opinion anyway! All in all an O.K place to go,but as it is quite away from me I wouldn't really go unless I was meeting my friend as it is nothing special but if you are looking for a change and you live not too far away, give it a go,you just might like it.
Now for what I brought (Only got a couple of bits,I was really good!)
Firstly is LUSH,I got some more of the toner water to try.Currently I use the Eau Roma one,but I do get blemishes so decided to try the Tea Tree one and see if it helps more. The prices of alot of things in LUSH have now gone up so this is now £3.10 for 100g.I also got a sample of Whoosh Shower Jelly.
Next I brought a cardigan from Primark in Navy.I would have got more there but this was the only one they had in a size 12,everything had gone in other colours etc..in a size 12! It is a lovely Navy colour but didn't show too well on camera.I have now got another one of these in Brown from my local Primark. These are £6.85.
On the journey home we stopped into Ikea and we picked up a candle(Only thing we could find to buy as didn't want or need anything else!) This is in my favourite,a Rose scent,at last something in a Rose fragrance. My Husband wasn't too keen on it so I will have to burn it when he is at work! Hopefully it will smell as so many scented candles smell great and then when you burn them they hardly give of a scent at all. These are only £1.19 so it doesn't matter if it doesn't,great size too,a really large jar for the price.Says on jar burn for 30hrs so a bargain!

Carboot Corner !!!
Hi Everyone !
Thought I would share with you some bargains that I picked up today at the carboot.Yes I ventured out of bed at the crack of dawn (6.30 am to be precise!) got ready and decided to go with my Husband and my Dad to the Carboot, well Carboots as we went to two! Unfortunately I only picked up a couple of bits as we are on a don't buy too much that we don't need rule and really there was not that much that we wanted on this occasion so I will have to be satisfied with what we got! We have lots of things to sell ourselves and in fact my Husband and Dad have been the last couple of weeks and have had a stall themselves.I am not that much of an early riser if I can help it and hate getting up too early,7.am is about the usual when I go early to work,I can get up if I choose but carboots are so early, why don't they do them later in the day??? I do go with my Husband sometimes and love to find a bargain! He tends to go every week and we do end up with some really good things.Carboots are fun,yes alot can be rubbish that I don't know why people bother to take it along??? Who wants things that are dirty and falling apart???We only buy and sell good condition or new items. I know carboots are classed by some as a no-no but why not?If like us, you are buying new or nearly new for the fraction of the cost than in the shops then surely it's no problem? Also you can find things that you wouldn't see everyday so you get something that is unique and not just run of the mill !
First of all I got a new set of false nails by Marks and Spencer. The glue has dried out but I always use nailene glue anyway not glue that comes in the kits as it sticks so much better. They are a gorgeous clear with a white tip and decorated with flowers in black with a very tiny amount of gold glitter in the centre of the flowers. They are called Thai Surprise and have a sticker saying £8,I got them for 50p!

Next I got some crafting bits,a lady was selling alot of various bits and bobs and I could have brought lots really but I have so much I need to use first.I just got these glue/sticky dots as I have never tried them before.I got two sets in different sizes each with two sheets in.I haven't counted how many I got but there is definitely afew hundred, all for 40p!!!

Coming up Roses!
Hi everyone! Going to talk about a product I brought recently,Vaseline Rosy lips.

This is part of the Vaseline lip Therapy range and comes in a 20g tin.It is designed to give you the beneficial care a lip balm does with the added extra of a pinky/red tint.As the Vaseline gives your lips a tint it can be worn alone on the lips giving them a glossy finish. This is shown in the pic below, being modeled by me!!!

I had put quite abit on in this picture so as you can see the effect is more subtle than dramatic. It can feel alittle slimy on the lips if you do apply too much so I would say just apply a thin layer, although if you want more colour intensity you will need more.It doesn't last the whole day due to it essentially being a lip balm/treatment so you do have to apply every few hours. If you are someone who doesn't wear lipstick or gloss this product is ideal or if you want a rest from lipstick but still want alittle colour and your lips cared for at the same time then this is for you!
Another big plus side for this little wonder is the smell. This has to be one of the best smelling products around,it doesn't taste too bad either! It contains Rose and Almond oil,but I just get the Rose coming through, and that being one of my favourite smells it's a winner! There should be more products with the good old fashioned Rose smell around, you hardly ever see them nowadays or only in gift sets at Christmas!
Price is another factor, compared to other similar products,Nivea care gloss and shine for example, this beats it hands down,it does the same and I got it cheaper.Depending where you go you will find it similar in price but in my opinion go for this.I purchased mine from Bodycare at around £1.29 but I do know in Boots it is over the £2 mark. Also it is harder to come by and my branch of Bodycare was out of stock for awhile as it is popular, whether youtube has anything to do with that, I got my inspiration to buy it from there!
All in all a great product that doesn't cost much and does you good, give it a go.......

Here's where it all begins....
Well here it is,my first blog post! I am starting this the same way I did my first youtube video all those months ago with a haul.To see the video of the haul check out my youtube channel WellThatsNat and if you like what you see then subscribe too! Every new subscriber will get a mention in my subscriber spot on this blog in the month they subscribed to my channel, this is because I love all my subscribers, cheesy I know, but true! Without all your support I would not be doing my videos or blogging,so thanks! I hope to grow in numbers as time goes on too, please : )
I have been buying a few bits lately so wanted to share them with you.Shoes have been the main thing so that is what I will be focusing on in this post. Most of you who know me know I have a shoe thing! I have been good though lately and I have cut right down and only buy sensibly what I need or when I get rid of some at least. The one good thing about my addiction is and will always remain the same,I don't buy expensive shoes,so that sort of justifies things!
To start off with are wedges in a sort of Gladiator style from New Look in a tan and gold studded detail. These were too good to miss at £5 in the sale!!! I wanted these as I have stopped wearing heels alot lately and have hardly worn any in months.I always used to but stopped due to wanting to take more care of my feet.I am slowly starting to wear them again as I read recently that wearing flats all the time can be unhealthy as well as wearing heels! I do have heels but they are more of going out ones,so these are ideal as they seem comfortable.Wedges don't look comfortable but they can be,surprisingly!

Next is the knitted boots in Grey from Primark. These are a great copy for the Uggs.I do love the Uggs and have actually handled a pair in Schu, but like I said I can't justify that kind of spend on shoes (They were £124) These were £7.83.You decide......
Lastly are the Baby Jane's in Grey also from Primark (I see a Grey pattern emerging!) These are to wear with trousers or Black opaque tights and a skirt in the colder months. They are gorgeous, love the colour, love the detail, just love em!!! These have a real leather insole and were £12.72.
